Well, "Dana Owens" A.K.A. Queen Latifah, has also emailed me, pretending to be Tony. I think that's kind of sad to impersonate anyone, even regular people, such as Tony. My goodness, Tony went on made to become more confident in himself and has the whole world looking at him differently now because he was on T.V., that doesn't mean anyone has the right to impersonate him oreven pretend to know him.

All i hope for, is that Tony remains the same, sweet, caring, and humorous person he is, and this whole MTV phase doesn't get the best of him, or people get the best of him (by using him due to status).

So Tony, again I write, don't change your moral aspect. you were perfect before the "big change," and even though you have changed your confidence, seriously don't let anyone ever bring you down due to your sudden fame, or anything else.

Ok I found tonys site after searching, I talked to yellowsnow man, on his web site staff contact thing. He gave me a screen name that he said was TONY, Apperently lieing to me I belivied this and We talked and I was happy, I noticed the IP in your email wasnt the same as the IP at the IM, This really pissed me off, So if anyone wants to know the sn that is inpersonating mr brown>< I will need his premmission from him to give it out, Otherwise that wouldnt be nice.

A comment...from one of the "older" Mr. Brown fans. :-p Watched MADE with a group of friends last night and we instantly thought your show was the best one MTV has done so far. I actually dropped you an e-mail afterwards. I think the lesson in your story - being content with yourself and seeking out people you share common ground with - is a *really* important lesson to learn. It's amazing people still don't get that. It's easy to follow the "populars" and put on a phony face just to fall in with the "cool crowd." That takes no brains...no guts at all...

But, Tony - putting your heart and soul out there for the world to see took major balls! Especially for someone so young. You know, you're probably going to be a HUGE success in the technology field some day, so I wouldn't worry about being or looking cool in the eyes of MTV people. I watch MTV occasionally, but for the most part, I'm turned off by it because of the shallow factor it seems to breed amongst America's youth culture. You should really just concentrate on being yourself and getting comfortable in your own skin. I know it's tough being lonely, but when I was in highschool in the 80's, I was known as "that weird artist girl in black" and now I'm a successful graphic designer who PROBABLY has a much more fulfilling life than those who tormented me. If people treat you badly because of how you come accross, then they aren't worth your effort in the first place. They will probably all end up working at dead end jobs and you'll probably own your own softwear company some day, so I wouldn't sweat it. Good luck.

Hey Mr.Brown. While I think you improved after Made, I question your need to be Made. I personally think you weren't as bad as Made, or you, portrayed your image. Your geeky image, I feel, was embellished and not a true representation of who you really were. I think you embellished your geekiness, if that's even a word, to the level that made your cry for help plausible; just my thoughts. BTW, I read the article about your Made episode. You commented that one of the girls you met used you as means to get on televsion. The girl that invited you to Mardi Gras was the one. It was blatant and obvious. MTV should have been smarter to stay stealth as you met people. Then you would get a feeling of how genuine the person was.

How about a Post-MADE BLOG ? The nice thing about it is that you can easily control the information you choose to share with great efficiency of time and effort. And it is satisfying to the visitor, who may like to be in touch and very interested in knowing what life is like after you have been featured on one of these shows. I hope you will like the idea and use it as a tool to pre-emptively respond to the interest and the many inquiries that you are getting. It may also help limit repetitious messaging when you can't write to everyone. Just an idea, hope you like it :)

I agree that MTV does sell pre-packaged "what's cool" media to the youth of today, but I find MADE to be one of their rare series that actually promotes self-understanding, challenges and the ability to overcome fears, both mentally and physically. It isn't mind-numbing, brain-cell killing entertainment; it is just the opposite. It's an educational experience I think everybody should witness. MTV is not at fault with Tony's insecurities at the beginning, though. The kids who torment him and make him feel like an outsider are the ones at fault. Society is at fault for teaching that the "bigger and stronger" is better. Teachers overlooking kids who bully others in the halls. Standards set for appearance, athletic ability, and social status. This is a prevalent problem, and I think nobody should have to deal with this, because it can scar them for a lifetime if left unchecked. It could also cause such pent-up anger which results in a tradegy like Columbine. If you do fine by yourself then you should quit putting others down. Stop raising yourself up on a pedestal and looking down upon others, that generates intolerance.

The only reason I'm writing so much about this is because if I can set a bigot in the right direction, towards tolerance, then the world is a little bit better today.

I really enjoyed watching the show you had, for MADE. I always had a theory that all the smart and/or computery kids will take over the world someday, and/or make so much more money than the rest of us. Be careful about those who just want to be your friend because you were on tv. You will probably be able to tell. Now, on to other things. Mr. Brown, you impressed me in the show, and I really enjoyed it. Even though our views on politics differ I find you someone to relate to. I'm a girl but I've been on computers since '97 (doing webpages, chats, roleplaying, etc. etc), it took me awhile to get my social life back in check when I decided I didn't want to spend all my time on it. You do attain a fair amount of intelligence when on computers but it's difficult to know what to do in social situations away from the screen!!! But anyone can bypass social anxiety with a little work (I have!). I think you should still remain who you are, however. I'm "different", but it's fun. I don't want to be another one of those clones like Chris trying to talk shit to make themselves feel better. I don't like that whole "mob mentality" and popularity. I'm sure by now you've found tons of cool friends and a group you can personally fit in with. Good for you! Good luck with the ladies (wink! ;D) and enjoy your newfound success and freedom.

i just wanted to say that i was really impressed by watching your "made". i dont think anyone should go on a quest to be something thier not. you seem to have a very animated personality, and girls should like you for that, not for your american eagle apparel. anything that people say about you will hurt, but you have to understand that thier the douchbags! who of us has the right to decide whats "cool" or "nerdy"?! i knew a kid in high school that was considered "dorky" but he was very nice. i talked to him because he was good person. people would always look digusted as if "why are you talking to him?!" well, that kid died a few years ago, and you would think something like that would wake people up to be more open to other types,but the same bullies were to it again. i just think you should keep in mind that have those people that tease you now will someday work for you, so stick it out and i hope you find love soon!!

Saw you on Made, thought it was one of the coolest eppy's. It is nice to see someone with your confidence. I grew up in the south and I was an outcast throughout my school years, I was ridiculed for being asian and being a "nerd".
